my list was long this morning in preparation for this evenings festivities......needed some groceries..... visited the butcher.....visited the fruit & vegetable market......& finally visited the wine shop......children in tow too! several hours later & many screams "get away from each other & stop touching everything!" i arrived home to unpack & sort things.
one thing that always stands out to me at this time of year in brisbane (well all over aust) is the delicious array of stone fruits. i bought white flesh nectarines for our salad tonight + i bought white flesh peaches for our champagne (bellini's anyone?).....+ i found beautiful little soft yellow plums for just eating now.
