frank & myrth, suite 2/113 brighton rd, sandgate

my clever designer friend, mady dooijes, introduced me to this gorgeous shop in sandgate recently.  some of mady's clothing & accessory creations are sold @ frank & myrth amongst other local artists & designers.

tahnee crowther set up frank & myrth 1yr ago with the ethos that each garment sold has a story, is unique & a creative alternative to chain stores.  she said many garments sold are "one off pieces"....and her customers love that!

tahnee is also starting a school initiative inviting students to feature their artwork/designs & receive a gift voucher.  also built into the shop space of frank & myrth is a small room soon to be offering vintage finds from sivad (sivad is also based in nundah @ travels with my aunt, buckland rd).....vintage finds seem to blend beautifully with tahnee's selection of local artists & designers.
frank & myrth can be hard to find....it is up a ramp that runs off brighton rd, if lost, call 07 3269 1613

treasure trove in nundah, 99 buckland rd, nundah village

3 clever ladies have filled a gorgeous old building in nundah with 3 separate businesses that blend beautifully together.....(1) panda pearls australia (wholesale priced pearls & a collection of antique enhancers), (2) travels with my aunt (vintage ladies finery & artisan treasures) & (3) sivad designs (fabric wall art & home decor)....when i first visited the store i loved the concept & wanted to browse for hours.  i recently revisited, took photos & wanted to share them with you.  the care taken to present this store is apparent the moment you enter & the ladies are wonderfully warm....i seem to leave with something each time + i love the newspaper recycled bag i got when i purchased my wooden paisley printed plate.
open 10am-4pm Tues to Sunday
