pavlova w orange blossom whipped cream, white nectarine & passionfruit

 australia day was a great break in the middle of the week for me.....my good friend (k) came over for lunch with her little girls & i prepared a simple australian inspired menu that was enjoyed all afternoon long.  the main focus for me was the dessert as i have always love love loved pavlova!  i make various versions depending on the season but this one is particularly excellent served in the summer months.  the orange blossom whipped cream is fragrant & delicious with the stone fruit.  i hope you had a great australia day. it certainly was warm in brisbane for us!

when whipping the thick cream add approximately 2tblspoons of orange blossom water or rose water is also delicious especially if you decorate the pavlova with dried rose petals & berries!!
