island life....1hr by ferry from brisbane

i am on holiday with my husband & girls.  stradbroke island feels so removed from my everyday life but it is only a short drive & a relaxing ferry ride away from brisbane.  our days have been filled with swimming, eating, walking, drinking, playing, more walking, reading & gazing at the sea.  there have been whales playing out to sea everyday.....aaahh i feel i could get used to the island life.
