sutton's farm, 10 halloran dr, thulimbah

my first contact with sutton's farm was when i ran a deli nearly 6 years ago....i would order their beautiful apple juices & the deli would continuously sell out of them....a couple of years ago i chatted with alison alexander (she is highly respected in the food industry + amongst other things she organises hilton masterclass & is a wonderful lady) she suggested we try sutton's farm cafe when we were next in stanthorpe...i guess from then on we have been hooked on sutton's in general!!!  in a summary we adore the following....sutton's home-made apple pie w apple cider ice cream OMG...the homestyle meals....the childrens home-made sausage roll w amazing home-made tomato sauce.....the mash.....the award winning cider....the apple brandy liquer....the relaxed pace of eating @ sutton's....the fire keeping the old packing shed warm....the merlo coffee....& to save the best for last - david & ros sutton themselves - such warm, friendly people. on our recent trip we ended up eating twice @ sutton's because it is so delicious!!!

Hello, I just stumbled across your blog. This is my parent's place. I'm glad that you like it! Have you tried 'pick your own' apples there? It's on now. Cheers Claire Sutton
