archive beer boutique/bistro, 100 boundary st, west end
a saturday morning recently i found myself @ archive west end. tim (head chef) is a customer of mine & has been talking up his breakfasts....i must say i have envisaged myself sitting @ archive on a sunday afternoon sampling some of their 100 beers on offer & eating from the grazing menu....so breakfast was something i had not considered too much + i guess it is the mentality of having breakfast @ a pub & will it be good?? when i lived in london some 12 yrs ago breakfast @ pubs was a regular thing but here it is something that we are still warming up to. archive didn't disappoint me - it was all good! i enjoyed the eggs benedict w pan-fried mushrooms very much - the eggs were sensational! the hollandaise was tangy & perfect! my plan to enjoy archive on a sunday afternoon will still stand but breakfast will also be something that i will be doing again @ archive.
