honestly & completely i cannot recommend these sweet treats enough! a work friend gave me a tin & i am hooked. she bought them from a persian food store, 16 cracknell rd, annerley. they are made in iran & their ingredients include almonds, pistachios, veg oil, sugar, wheat malt, saffron & cardomon. they are buttery, crunchy, sweet, caramely, nutty &.....kind of mysterious, very different to anything i have ever had. i have seen them sometimes in delis for around $8 a tin.....keep your eyes open for them!
