my friend carla from vanilla pod cake & deli cafe came visiting yesterday & dropped off a pretty box containing a selection of their newly created/baked/decorated easter treats...i promised to photograh the treats before they were devoured however this was difficult as ruby was hands in wanting to eat them all!
inside the box was the newly created & new to brisbane - vanilla pod "cake pops"...bite sized balls of moist cake lovingly handmade & double dipped into a decadent bath of white chocolate, decorated to perfection & served on a lollipop stick.
the box also included easter themed egg shaped cup cakes...+ “hot cross” cup cakes...& their old-fashioned handmade (gluten free) candy easter eggs.
the pictures show how beautiful they all are but you have to try to fully appreciate them!!...i ate 2 of the "hot cross" cup cakes before my cup of tea was even poured!
