this is a true story...it was a wednesday & in my diary i had a new client visit to attend.....my diary read...."12pm byron @ euro vida"....as i drove to the appt i thought i once knew a byron from my old days living in sydney....10mins later i arrived & sure enough there is byron from my previous life some 10 yrs ago! SMALL WORLD!!! byron is turning out excellent food @ euro vida & the coffee (manfredi) is really good! byron is an old school chef - doesn't cut corners & makes all things from sratch. our breakfast was truly superb - my spanakopita w perfect poached eggs was outstanding! my husband loved his white bean & chorizo cassoulet w toasted turkish fingers + the girls loved their raspberry & white choc muffins.....followed by scrambled eggs, bacon w potato & pecorino hash brown......i stayed a little longer to snap some of the breakfast orders coming out of the immaculate yet compact kitchen. kathy the owner & byron the chef are onto something special @ euro vida.....next time we go i am looking forward to a lazy sunday afternoon of tapas & vino! byron loves his tapas & if breakfast is anything to go by the tapas will be delicious!
