ricotta gnocchi by GourmetGirlfriend

homemade classic sugo to go with ricotta gnocchi

when i moved last year i linked up with several food & alike melbourne bloggers through the 'blogosphere'...one particular clever blogger i was drawn to was ruth from GourmetGirlfriend.  her blog has many things i love including her great home cooked meals & the inclusion of her 5 food savvy boys, her honesty, her energy, her love of colour...esp red and her happy & real way of going about her everyday life.

i have always been a huge believer in peoples energy and ruth has great energy!

at a recent dumpling meet up she was talking about her ricotta gnocchi and how simple it is to make.  i waved my hand and said 'noooo i can't make gnocchi!'...she waved her hand back and said 'oh you can make this gnocchi!'...

so the challenge was set...and i succeeded.  i am now telling anyone who cares to listen 'YOU CAN MAKE THIS GNOCCHI!'...

family lunch menu included:
roasted peppers & fennel bruschetta with aged goats cheese

click on this link for the recipe and ruth's post for her ricotta gnocchi...also if you haven't already discovered her great blog scroll through her many delicious and achievable recipes. GourmetGirlfriend...
