pho tam, shop 1/7-9 leeds st, footscray

we were in search of a quick friday lunch recently and happened to snag a park right out the front of pho tam in the back streets of footscray.  lots of tables were full busy eating steaming bowls of pho.  we sat inside and ordered several dishes including chicken curry & yam w rice noodles, rice paper rolls with shredded pork & a chicken, ginger & shallot stirfry w rice...+ the 5yr old insisted on a bowl of egg noodles with chicken brothe.

all very tasty, fresh, fast, cheap & perfect for a quick friday lunch...with the added bonus of a park right out the front!

I have not had a good bowl of pho in ages. I remember one very fabulous meal late in my pregnancy that I can still taste with loads of chili paste. My poor emerson was doing flips in the womb. Hmm, sounds so yummy right now. I may need to try my hand at that for a future Soup Monday post. Thanks for the inspiration.
