kath & jake ives have owned olga & agnes in stanthorpe for 2.5yrs.....kath (ex brisbane girl) runs a lovely deli & cafe with a broad mix of products.....the shop has been a deli for over 50 years so there are some gorgeous vintage features including the great red & black lino floor! + kath has a great vintage style herself so it all seems to flow beautifully.
whenever we have visited over the last couple of years the place is busy & the campos coffee is excellent - just the pefect size cups too! my sister sampled the freshly made cannoli filled with chocolate custard & declared she was in heaven! we shared our table with some locals & they only had great things to say about olga & agnes fine food store....this is one place that is always on our priority list to visit whenever we are in stanthorpe!!
Ooh I'd love to spend a winters afternoon here. This place looks like a treasure trove. And I do so prefer my coffee in a normal size (which is not 'small' as I keep being told in many coffee places - it's jus the rest of the sizes are ridiculously large).
